About:Great Wall Travel - 8 Key Concerns

What to wear when visiting the Great Wall in January

We are visiting Beijing in January 2015 and doing a day trip to the Great Wall. What clothing do you suggest we pack - particulary shoes - will joggers be adequate or should we wear hiking boots/shoes?

Lisa, it's winter time in January. The temperature is low. You'd better wear warm clothes like down jacket, gloves and hat if you are afraid of coldness and wind. If it doesn't snow, I think jogges are ok. Otherwise, you'd better wear boots or anti-skid shoes.
