is our ralationship will last forever? Im tired of him we clash a lot of time?

I am metal rooseter 1981 my bf is rat 1974 we are already 9yrs.

To be honest, rat and rooster are not a very good pair because they still don't understand each other very well. Rooster prefers to talk about rat's shortcomings, which makes rat feel very uncomfortable. Rat hopes that his lover should love him very much instead of criticizing him everyday. Rooster feels unhappy too because she thinks that her rat husband can overcome his shortcomings after she reminds him. As a result, they both feel hurt in their relationship.
