About:China Train

Where is Taiyuan South railway station?

We are planning to fly to Taiyuan, then take a train to Pingyao. The schedule shows that for Pingyao Ancient City departing from Taiyuan South, but I cannot find that station. Taiyuan East and North, but not South.

it is a new station and in the south of the city, near Shanxi University. you can take taxi there, costing about CNY25 from Taiyuan railway station.
