About:China Transit Visa

Paris-Auckland via Guangzhou/Baiyun

Hi,
I am flying from Paris to Auckland via Guangzhou. The transit is from 6 am to mid night on the same day.
So I would like to ask:
1) Do I need any specific type permit for the transit?
2) Can I leave the airport and come back later during the day to take the flight to Aucland?
I hold a Moroccan passport and have a visa for New Zealand (final stop).
Thank you.

Since your transfering time is no more than 24 hours, nothing is required if you just stay in the airport.
You can get out of the airport. You can apply for a stay permit stamp at the immigration department in the airport to leave the airport. For applying it, you need to show your passport, your ticket to Aucland.
