About:What to Pack for a Tibet Travel

Visiting Tibet during golden period in China

Hi, I will be arrived in Chengdu on 30 April 2015 and since China will be soo crowded that time, I'm thinking to go to Tibet instead for about a week. Is it okay to travel during that time or it is advisable not to go there also?

Mary, the peak season usually starts from May 1 to October 31 and the low season, November 1 to April 30. In fact, the tourists swarm into Tibet in July and August. And the May Day holiday lasts for 3 days only. So there won't be many tourists. I think you can visit Tibet during May Day Holiday.
