First time travel to Shanghai.... need guidance to plan my visit

I am travelling to Pudong for meeting at Intercontinental Pudong for 3 days. In the evening after meeting, I like to do shopping for clothes and household items and do some sightseeing. I like to know which area i should go first so that i can plan my day.
