Buy a ticket at railway station in an other city than in the departing city

Hello,
Can I buy a ticket at the railway station of an other city than of wich I'd like to depart? F. ex. Can I buy a ticket in Geermu go get from Lanzhou to Beijing (or Beijing West)?

yes, you can. but there is service fee of CNY 5 per ticket charged by the railway station.
