14 day M type Visa Problem

Hi there,

Me and my colleagues were given M type for our training here. Our problem is it was only approved for 14 days. Is that normal?

We tried going to the Entry and Exit Administration Office but they were looking for different documents.

We really need some help cause our M expires next week.

It is normal. The duration of stay depends on your training time. If your training lasts no more than 14 days, the duration of stay will be around 14 days.

For details, you still need to contact with the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau, because they are the authority in charge of this issue in China.

Hi Dylan,

Thanks for the quick reply. We actually for a 28-day visa but was approved for 14 days only. That is what we're confused of. We had another colleague with us who applied her visa at a different date and was approved for 30 days.

We tried going to the local Exit and Entry Office but they were asking for an "Invitation Letter from Dongguan Foreign Affairs". Any idea what that is?

Also, I've checked all the requirements needed for renewal of visa and I'm confident we have everything, problem is, the office isn't too helpful.

If so, you may need to provide the invitation letter from Dongguan Foreign Affairs. You need to ask the organizer who hold the training to get that invitation letter. There is no better method.
