ime number - required by medical report supplied by canadian embassy

Question

I am an Australian working in China and i am applying (via my current employer) for a Candian work visa.  Since i have been livinfg in China i am required to provide a medical exam with my visa application HOWEVER i cannot get a medical exam with an IME number which is supplied by Canadian Embassy.  How do i get an IME number?thank you

If so, you are suggested to go to the Canada Embassy in China for consulting this number. Their address is No. 19, Dongzhimenwai Stree, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Or you can go to your nearby consulate in Chongqing, Guangzhou or Shanghai.
