Hi, my name is Samuel from kenya and wanted to know whether it is possible to do part time jobs in china while pursuing mater studies

Samuel, you should ask permission from the university and then go to the local entry and exit management bureau to add a notice to your visa or temporary residence permit. Then you can do part-time jobs legally in China. It's illegal to do part-time jobs if you don't follow the procedure. You will be fined or sent back to your country if you are found out to work illegally.
