About:China Tourist Visa

Can the inviting individual be a temporary resident?

Hello,

For the invitation letter, can it be made by a temporary resident in China who holds an X1 (chinese resident permit not received yet) or X2 visa?

In that case, can the visa be enclosed to the invitation letter as an ID of the inviting individual?

Thank you!

What type do you want to apply?

Generally speaking, the invitation letter can be made by people who has a resident permit in China with X1, but it is not assured that whether people holding X2 can issue you an invitation letter.

If the one with a resident permit issue you an invitation letter, a photocopy for its resident permit and its passport are needed as their ID during your application.

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. It is for a tourist visa application.

The X1 holder unfortunately still hasn't received his resident permit, I wanted to know whether a photocopy of his visa was enough in the meantime, I understand that your answer is no.
