About:China Travel Tips

about Zhanjiajie weather and attitude.

I will travel to there in Oct 16-17-2014, I would like to know about the attitude and weather, do we can take escalator to up hill or have to climb up hill, and how high need to climb?. Please reply thanks. CF Song

The average altitude in Zhangjiajie city is around 250 meters. However, the altitude in the scenic area isfrom 1310 to 1580 meters. The elevator is 326 meters high. If you choose to climb, it takes around 2 hours. it just takes around one minute by elevator.

The temperature is from 15 to 22 degrees Celsius. However, it varies sharply between day and night. Sometimes, it might rain too.
