How many postal codes are there in China?

Edgar, I tried to search for an answer but failed. Chinese postal code is composed of 6 numbers. Therefore, there are one million sorts of permutations. But I think that there are so many postal codes in China.

Thank you very much. But I don't think there are 999,999 postal codes active. For instance here in Mexico our postal codes are composed of 5 numeric characters, however, we don't have 99,999 postal codes. We only have less tan 33,000 active postal codes. Another example is the USA, they also have 5 number in their postal codes, yet they only have 42,571 postal codes. Anyway, thank you very much for the effort.
