About:Baggage Allowance and Transportation

alcohol on board/ or sent to the final destination

Dear Customer Service,

I have been recently informed about alcohol restrictions on your webpage. Under the referred rule, passengers can take maximum 100 ml alcohol on board. What if I take wines/beers or other special alcohols as a gift to my final destination (that is allowed by customs rules, ie. I take 1.5 litre of wine over 12%, and many beers under 12% or in some other way). What should I do in this case if I want to travel after my flight (after entering mainland China) by a train to my final destination: should I send my bag that contains wines, and other alcohols by a delivering service? If so, how can I arrange it? I guess, it is cheaper, if I send only alcohols (less weight), and take ma luggages on board (since there is no limit concerning the number og luggages, only weight and size limitations..). What can I do in such case? What do you recommend? How can I arrange it, and how much money would it cost to me, if I have to send a small package t(that contains only my bottles of wines, and so on) from Shenzhen to Qingdao?

I am looking forward to receiving/ reading your kind reply and instructions on this forum!
Kind regards,

Andrea, from Hungary

the limitation of 100ml refers to industrial or medical alcohol, but not wine or beers.
as for wine, one can take maximum 6 bottle (each 500ml) under 50%. For beer, i did not find clear restriction, but I suggest that you take no more than 5 or 6 bottles or cans.
