short stay (72 hrs) at Beijing airport

Hi, I am a Dutch national and between two flights I would like to stay in Beijing for 72 hrs. Do I need to apply for a visa or can a short stay VOA be obtained at Beijing international airport? thanks.

If you have the onward flight tickets to a third country and your staying time is no more than 72 hors, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit. At the airport, you can apply for a stay permit stamp on the airport to get out of the airport.
