Can one re-apply for the Chinese (z) Work Visa?

A couple of questions:
1) Does the Chinese Government tell the reasons why they refused to grant a Z type?

2) If a Z type is refused, can one re-apply?

Thanks so much!

The local Chinese embassy will not tell you the seasons for rejection.
If you are rejected, you can re-apply after 3 mothes.
Personally speaking, if you can provide enough necessary documents, you will not easily be rejected for applying Z type.

OK. Here's the situation: My wife and I were offered teaching positions in one of the Chinese schools, which had also applied for our visas in China. While my application was approved, my wife's was not. So we are mulling any possible recourse...
Would appreciate an informed comment.
Thanks.

If your wife also provide full documents but got rejected, there is no methods to solve it. You may try to contact the embassy for asking some reason, but not sure you can get it.
