About:Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen Ferry

Getting to Shenzhen International Airport from Hong Kong International Airport

I land very early at HKIA and need to meet my fellow tour members at SZ International Airport arrival hall.

So, my plan is: once my plane lands at HKIA, I will go to the ferry counter to buy a ticket to Fuyong Port. I do not need to go through immigration or collect my luggage. My luggage will be automatically transferred onto the ferry to Fuyong Port.

Once I get to Fuyong Port, I will collect my luggage and take the free shuttle from Fuyong Port to SZ International Airport.

My question is: How long is the journey on the shuttle from Fuyong Port to SZ International Airport and where do I go to get the shuttle once I exit Fuyong Port? Is the whole process difficult? I do not speak Chinese/mandarin. At what point do I ask for the departure tax back?

Thank you

It takes around 10min from Fuyong Port to SZ Airport. After getting off the ferry, you can find the free shuttle bus easily. Also the signages are very clear.

Don't worry! The guiding signs in both airport are marked both in Chinese and English, so it is easy to transfer. I heard you can get bcak the departure tax at the ticket counter of Skypier. If you cannot find that, ask the airport staff.

Thank you Gina.

I am also planning to take the ferry back to HKIA from SZ airport. Can I check in my luggage at SZ airport and then take the shuttle to Fuyong Port? Will I need to show my ferry ticket when checking in at SZ airport?
