Chinese Student Visa in Hong Kong

Would it be possible for me to obtain a student yype (given i have all the neccessary documentation ready) in Hong Hong as a non-resident? I would be flying first to HK, apply and then depart to Beijing. Are there any limitations on the lengh of an X2 type in this case? Currently it is not practical for me to apply in the country of my residence, and being able to do so in HK would be really handy! (Italian passport holder)
Thanks!

According to the policy, you cannot get your X2 in Hong Kong, since you do not have a HK ID card.
However, if you really want to apply, you may need to ask some local agency to help you to get. It may be possible, but the fee will be high.

Usually, the duration of stay of X2 is less than 180 days and its valid is 3 monthes.
