About:China Visa Application Requirements

I want to visit China to visit a friend. Can I get a tourist L visa without an invitation letter?

I've already booked all my flights and hotel room. Do I need to get an invitation letter as well?

You needn't get an invitation letter. The air tickets and booked hotel room are ok.
