i arrive at shenzhen on 17 & depart fm guilin on 23 sept 2014 by air.

Question

Plan to journey all the way up to Guilin. What are the areas recommend that I visit and by what mode of transport? Thank you in advance for your suggestions. For your information my Mandarin is poor but can manage Cantonese & Fuchian dialects.

On Sep. 17, 18 and 19, you can have fun in Shenzhen. The Window of the World, Splendid China & Folk Cultural Village, OCT East, Dameisha and Xiaomeisha beach and Dongmen pedestrian should not be missed. Then at Shenzhen Luohu Railway Station, take a bullet train to Guangzhou in the afternoon of Sep. 19. Then spend tow to three days in Guangzhou. The must-sees are White Cloud Mountain, Pearl River (and the cruise), Yuexiu Park and Chimelong resort. Beijing Road and Shangxiajiulu pedestrian are best choices for shopping and having local snacks. Afterwards, you can fly to Guilin or catch an overnight train to Guilin. The Li River Cruise should not be missed of course. In Yangshuo, the 'Impression Sanjie Liu' is recommended to enjoy. After all these travels, you can fly out from Guilin.
