Queency, I am afraid that it is too difficult to make your son gain a Chinese passport in China. You may try to apply one from Chinese embassy in Philippines. First, you should get married there and acquire a marriage certificate. Then, you both bring your marriage certificate, your son's birth certificate and other required documents to apply for a Chinese passport from the embassy.

Although you get married in China, you may still meet some other problems in the process of trying to get a passport for your son.
Personally speaking, you and your partner can try to get married in Philippine. Then you can try to get your son a Philippine passport. Then you and your son can apply a Q type to stay in China for a long time if your partner is Chinese resident. Maybe you can think about this suggestion.
