About:China Family Reunion Visa

Can I change my M visa to Q1 after I register my marriage with my Chinese wife

Dear Sir/madam.
I am Junaid from Pakistan. I am and my Chinese wife are planing to formally register our marriage in August, 2014. I am issued with 30 days M type. After we register our marriage, can I apply for Q1 without leaving China? But I will not live in China longer only will be traveling between Pakistan and China once a month to meet my wife and manage my business in Pakistan. Can any one tell me how is it possible? I need your guidance and help.

If you want to apply on your own, it is impossible to apply Q1 in China without leaving. If you want to try this through some agency, probably the changing will be successful, but the fee may be very high.

If you plan to apply on your own, you need to go back to your own country for applying after your get married in China.

Thanks so much for your reply, it is very helpful.
I want to do it through some Agency, but the agency that I need to talk to should be in Pakistan or in China?
Do I need to show my bank statement for Q1 in China?
What documents I need to present and how much time it will take? this will help me planing my resources and time for my trip to China and do all the processes successfully. need your suggestions and guidance.

Since you are in China now, you need to find one in China. You do not need to show your bank statement, but your wife's is probably needed.
Generally speaking, you need to provide an invitation letter your wife provides, her ID card and your marriage certificate with your valid passport and application form. Usually, the processing lasts around 4 days. However, if you apply through an agency, you need to ask the agency to get know the exact days.

If you apply through an agency, they will tell you the necessary documents in detail, so please do not worry.
