About:China Work Visa

Extension after the DDL

My visa residence/permit expires in 29 days. Is the time enough? What happens when I apply too late? Do I need to do a medical check again if I continue to work for the same employer?

You should extend your work permit first and then go to the entry and exit mangement bureau to extend your residence permit. The work permit should be extended at least 30 days before it expire. You'd better do it as early as possible. Otherwise, you may not have time to extend your residence permit successfully.

I think you may be required to do another medical check when you extend your residence permit.
