is there a way that the chinese consulate in montreal accepts visa applications on line ?

I live in New brunswick and for me to apply means the added costs of a return flight to montreal and hotel accommodation until the application is processed. Is there a chance that the Consulate accepts on line applications or fax documents or e=applications for those who have to travel in by plane a great distance. As we do not have e chinese consulate in the maritimes at all, we are disadvantaged in this respect.

Hey, there is no online application service. However, you can send your application to the CVASC branch by post if you can not come and apply in person.
