why am i in the year of the ox

i want to know why im in the year of the ox i was so sure i was born in the year of the snake but i wasnt why and my name is kyera

I am guessing that you did what I did and got your original info from a Chinese Buffet placemat. The Chinese year starts and ends on different dates from the Western calendar. I myself went from a Rabbit to a Tiger.
