I'm applying for X1 visa. Do I still have to present my ticket for travelling?

Ticket isn't needed. However, your personal bank statement (recent six months' bank deposit certificate), employment or study proof, bir-stamped income tax return form, salary and working age proof from your employer or professional ID is required if you come to China for the first time. If you can't provide the required document, you should write a letter of explanation.

But I am applying for X type, and below 18 years old. How about the requirements for this?

As I said, you should write a letter of explanation if you can't provide the required documents. In your situation, you may provide your parents' bank account and state that they burden all the costs during your study in China. And may contact the consular department to ask what documents you should prepare.
