About:Wudang Mountains

arrive in hotel near the entrance of Wudang Mountain

Hallo,
I will go on wudangshan in August, and i book a hotel near the entrance of mountain.
I will arrive with train from Beijing to Shiyan.
To get from shiyan to hotel in the mountain area, what should I take?
The bus or the train?

My hotel is Wuyue hotel WDS
52-2 east taihe road (taihe dong lu, special economic zone

When you arrive at the Shiyan Railway Station, you don’t need to take the train again. You can take the bus 202 or 203, which directly leads to the entrance of the scenic area. The you can walk to your hotel.

How long does the trip take with bus 202/203?

The bus ends in wudangshan?


I will stay for 2 days and my hotel is outside of the mountain, will i pay 2 times the ticket for the mountain?

The bus line 202 runs around 70 to 80 minutes on the road and it will reach the entrance of Wudang Mountain. The bus line 203 only operates between the Wudang Railway Station and the mountain's entrance.

You will not pay the entrance ticket for the second time, but you need to pay for the sightseeing bus for the second time.

As you exit shiyan railway station, go left-bus 202 leaves from there about every 15mins or so from ? 730am-830pmish. It costs 4CNY and I think the mountain gate is the last stop-its pretty obvious though as large gate when u get there and lots of buses. My understanding of the ticket is that you need to buy the ticket that costs 240CNY at the main ticket office, then take this back towards the ticjet building entrance to the 'yearly' ticket desk. Here u pay an extra 10CNY to enable reentry (for 3 or 6 months, im not sure cuz of language barrier). They will copy passport photo onto an id ticket so u dont have to pay to enter again, but u will have to pay 50CNY the next day for bus use. This is my undersranding from last month as we are going up again in a week or so. Have fun!

I have 2 days to spend there, with the hotel near the gate.

Yes, but when you wanna go into the scenic area again, you need to take the "second entry" process at the Customer Service Center near the gate, by showing your ticket and passport.
