Inner Mongolia Grass festival

if we went to Gegentala in August 12th 2014, could we stay in a yurt? Would there be any festival activities? If the festival is not on, what are the other attractions in this area? We would really just like to spend a few days getting to experience Mongolian culture/food/living.
