1. You may consider the Guomao Hotel, located at no. 1, Yunji Road and Shanzhaung Business Hotel, at No. 105, Dongshan Avenue. Both of them are within 250 meters from the train station.
2. It is 10km or a little farther from the Yangtze Port. Walk from the train station to Yiling Square bus stop to take bus no. 10 to Sanyoudong. Then you can walk around 650 meters to the port to catch Yangtze Cruise.
3. One day is too short to cover these scenery you mentioned. Usually, the Yangtze Cruises have upsteam ships and downstream ships. The former takes 5D4N and the latter takes 4D3N. Yes, there is, but time is not enough to cover the three gorges. U may only have time to see the Xiling Gorge and the Dam. For details, I suggest you consult a local travel agency. If you will stay in a hotel in YC, they may arrange such tours. Then U'd better consult them first.
