You can take the AE and get off at Kowloon Station. The take the free shuttle bus K1 to your hotel directly. When you go back to the airport, you can follow the reversing route.
If you go to the peak from the airport, you can also take the AE and get off at HK Station. Then you can walk through the undeground passage to Central Station to head for Garden Road in a few minutes. Then take peak tram to the mountain. As for returning route, vice versa.
