rainfall, weather & typhoon season in taiwan

Question

hi, i would like to bring my elderly mother ( she just had hip operation early this year ) to taiwan maybe mid october ( this year ) or early may ( next year ), May i know which is the best period ( to avoid typhoon season, heavy rainfall ). Also where are the places you would recommend for elderly to visit ( preferably close to nature and safe places )thank youchancsunmalaysia

It is suggested to go there in mid October. Although October is still in typhoon season, but if you are lucky enough, you will not meet the typhoon. It is suggested to keep attention on the latest weather forecast to avoid the typhoon. 'Early May is is in the rain season, so it is suggested to avoid that period. For the elderly, it is suggested to visit Taipei and then go to Kenting.
