Transport from Guangzhou airport to city centre

We have a stop over in GZ of 14 hours on our way from India to Melbourne. If we want to tour the city centre how do we get transport from the airport (we don't speak the language) & back again.

You can take the Airport Express Line 5 and get off at Haizhu Square, which is in the city center area. When go back to the airport, you can take the bus.

Or you can take the subway line 3 at the Airport South Station and get off at Jiahewanggang Station. Then transfer to line 2 and get off at Haizhu Square. You can also go back reversing this route.

The metro is pretty easy to navigate even if you don't speak Chinese! They have English audio on the metro too. The GZ airport has a metro station in it that will get you into the city and back.
