About:Huangpu River Cruise

Where exactly do I catch the LOCAL ferry for a sightseeing cruise. I want the one that is 12 CNY.

I don't want the expensive tourist cruise. The sights are the same. Please direct me to the exact starting point and finish points. I will be coming from Yuyuan Garden.So I would like to start at the end that is easiest to reach from there. Is this the Water Bus Line? I don't care which line as long as its the cheap local ferry,not the tourist ferry. I would like to ride it from on end to the other. And maybe back. How long is it one way?

It sails between Nanpu Bridge and Yangpu Bridge. Yuyuan is closer to Nanpu Bridge. You can walk around 210 meters to reach Xinbeimen Station from Yuyuan Garden. Then take no. 801 or 64 to get off at Xiakezhan Station and walk around 380 meters to reach Nanpu Bridge. It costs around CNY 17 if you catch a taxi. The whole cruise is about 11 kilometers.

Thank you. Should I look for the "Water Bus" Line? Or a specific name? How long should I allow for time to do the entire one way distance of 11 KM?

Seriously, I have no idea if this line still exists. It's the water bus line operated in 2000. However, I couldn't find more information about it.
