Nuts are ok. Can you specify what kind food you cook? Cooked meat, egg and egg products and animal and animal products are forbidden to enter China.

Kale and feta cheese, veggies with peanut sauce. These would be dehydrated, so very dry and put in a ziplock bag. Also, do I need to declare this food at customs and do I need to declare a sattelite phone?

Kathy, veggies with penut sauce is ok. However, cheese is not allowed to enter China. You needn't declare your food when you enter China.
