About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

zimbabwean studying in China?

i am a zimbabwean and i need to do college in china, that takes four years. it seems the maximum of visa validity is two years is there any other type that can be applied for.?

You are suggested to apply for X1. After you reach China, you can go to the local police station to registrate to get your resident permit. Before the resident permit get expired, you can go to the local police station to renew the permit. In this way, you can stay in China for four years.
