I am US citizen with wife and son visiting Seoul for six weeks. Purchased tickets for wife, son an I for July 18-20 China. No Visa yet. Do I need visa for tourism visit for 54 hours? If so. many Chinese cities have a 72-hour visa free policy for foreign visitors from some countries, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Guangzhou. If you fly from Seoul to one of the cities and stay less than 72 hours and then fly to a third country other than South Korea, you don' t need to apply the visa. If not, I'm afraid you need to reschedule. You need to contact the airline company or the agent that book the ticket for you.
