Richard, it's more convenient to go to Zhangjiakou from Beijing. So you may fly to Beijing first and then take train or bus for Zhangjiakou. The bus station is Liuliqiao Station. It departs from 06:10 to 19:20. It costs 70 RMB per person. Or you can take train from Beijing Railway Station to Zhangjiakou. It takes 3 to 5 hours. A hard seat costs 29.5 RMB. Personally, I think bus is more convenient.
