About:China Travel Tips

China Construction Bank ATM Locked Out

Hello - I live in the US, and I won't be back in China until the end of this year. I tried to access cash using my China Construction Bank ATM in the United States, but the ATM screwed up and kept trying the wrong password. Now, I am locked out of my account. Does anyone know what I can do...without having to go to China?

Mark, you should take your passport and the card to any bank branch in the city where you opened your account to reset your password. That's what the bank said. You may ask help from China Construction Bank by calling +86-(area code of the city)-95533.

I'm in the US though. Nowhere near a branch...
