About:China Basics

I am travelling for the first time in china, how much cash i should come with?

I am travelling to China on Business Visa for 30-45 days, I don't know anything about china. Expecting to stay in luxury hotel, expensive meals, weekend parties and tours and of-course some shopping of 25% budget. How much this will cost me in Chinese currency?

Well, foreigners are just allowed to take as much as 20000 RMB in cash when they enter China. So you can take 20000 RMB at most. The luxury hotel and expensive restaurants accept credit cards. So do tour agencies and shopping malls. So I think 20000RMB is ok.
