About:China Visa

72 hr visa stops at kansai airport

Hi we have tickets via shanghai airport to chengdu, we do not leave the airport with China eastern our outward tickets from shanghai to Bangkok are within 72 hrs. China eastern are saying that even though we are in transit it voids the 72 hrs
Help!

China Eastern Airline is right. You transit in two cities (Shanghai and Chengdu) before you fly to Thailand. Therefore, you are not eligible for 72 hours free transit.
