Dear Sir/Madam,Im planning to visit china to see my wife who is currently studying there. I would like to know what documents i would need to apply for L type and how long it would take to process from china embassy in male' .

Ali, you should ask your wife to send you an invitation letter and a copy of her passport information page and the Chinese visa page. Then you can take them with your passport, filled 2013 application form and a recent passport photo to apply for the L type. It usually takes 3 or 4 working days.
