About:Hong Kong Weather

typhoon in hk in Sep?

Hi. I wanted to bring my kids to HK on 9 sept to 13 sept. This is the first time travelling with them to HK. Wanted to know whether it's a good time to go cos some articles said that it is the typhoon season. Dont want to disappoint them with bad weathers. M.LEE

Yes, you are right. September is still in typhoon season, but you will not meet one if you are lucky.
Currently, it is early to predict whether you can meet the typhoon or not in that time. The average temperature is around 26 to 31C in that time according to the past records and thunder storm may easily happen.
It is suggested to keep attention on the latest weather forecast to check whether you will meet the typhoon or not.
