About:Shangri-La Transportation

shangrila, dali, lijiang, kunming

Hi, I'm planning on visiting lijiang-shangrila-dali-Kunming in that order. I think that taking buses is the best way (cheaper~). Night buses are even better. I can only expende 1 to2 days in these cities but in total the maximum is 5 to 6 days. Would it be enough? Should I not go to one of those places in order to focus in another? Kunming is necessary because I have to take the train to Guilin. Thanks!

If you just want to see around in general, 5 to 6 days are enough, two days in Lijiang, one day in Shangri-la, one day in Dali and two days in Kunming.
If your time is so tight, you can drop off Dali and spend one more day in Lijiang. It is worth staying in Lijiang for a long time.

Hi Lilian, Thanks for the help. DO you know if the bus tickets should be bought before hand?

Yes. If you already has a plan, you are suggested to buy one day in advance.
