About:Dual Nationality

chinese italian, baby borned in China..

I m chinese orginal, and my parents are chiense. my husband is italian.. my son borned in China and he has Chinese passport! If i have italian passport and father is italian, can baby still remains Chinese passport ??

If i choose to have italian passport, will i lose chiense passport even my parents are Chinese? and will i can still can keep my Chinese ID ?

Kathy, your son is a Chinese since he already has his Chinese passport. If you want him to be an Italian, you need to cancel his Chinese citizenship because China doesn't acknowledge dual citizenship. Once your son acquires his Italian citizenship, his Chinese ID will be void.
