About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

We are headed to the Hong Kong and Shenzhen area in just a couple weeks...

What should I expect in the way of weather, the way we should dress ( casual, dress up etc..)? Will my debit/credit card from my local bank work in China? Should I bring cash or travelers checks? Thanks

The temperature in HK is 20 to 32 degrees Celsius in July. So is Shenzhen. Somtimes, it might be hotter. So summer clothes like T-shirts, shorts and skirts are ok. However you may encouter typhoon sometimes.

Both your debit and credit cards can be used in China. It's ok for you to bring a traveler cheque too. And you should take some money in cash when you are in China because you may not use your credit or debit card in some places.
