About:China Customs Declaration

Process to declare gold when come out from China

I have a 1kg gold bar given to me as wedding gift by a relative from Beijing and planning to fly back to Singapore. Can I take the 1kg gold bar out from China?

KKF, I am afraid that you can't take 1kg gold out of China. According to the customs law, passengers can take as much as 50kg in or out of China for personal use.

Thanks for your answer Kevin, but I am confused, You said passenger free to take 50kg in and out of China, I am only 1Kg, how come can't take it out from China?

OMG, I made a serious mistake. I am sorry. The limit is 50g.
