distance between dunhua, changbaisanerdao

Question

Please let me know of the followings:1. If I am travelling from Dunhua to Changbaishan and from Changbaishan to Erdao, what will be the distances like and travelling times? (travel by bus)2. If I am going to Changbaishan before end of September, What is the climate like? (e.g. temperatures) and what sorts of apparels I should wear.I look forward to your advices and possible please email to me at  fsflau@yahoo.com Thank you.

From Dunhua, there is no direct bus to Changbaishan and you need to reach Erdaobaihe Town. The distance from Dunhua to Erdaobaihe Town is around 150km and the traveling time is around2.5 to 3 hours. Then in this town, you can easily find a bus to Changbaishan, about 50km from the town. The bus takes aroun one hour to the mountain. If you went there in the end of September, the thin down jacket and the thin sweaters are necessary for climbing the mountain. The temperature in Sep. is around 10 to 15C. You may meet snow on the top of the mountain.
