About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Multiple entry visa for a University Professor.

What do I need to do to apply for this type that will be good over a period of time. i.e. 3 years if possible. He will visiting as a research professor.

Hi, do you mean he will go to China for work? if yes, he needs to apply for a work Z, then apply for a residence permit after entry, which can be good for a stay of one year with multiple entry and extendable.
