early flight - huanglong

Question

Hello! Our itinerary is as follow: day 1 Jiuzhaigouday 2 Huanglongday 3 8.45 am flight to Xi'anBetween day 2 and day 3, do you suggest that we stay at a hotel in Huanglong or at a hotel closer to the airport? We just want to make sure what is safer in order not to miss our morning flight! We can take a taxi in the morning, but will the traffic and availability for taxis be possible?Thanks!

Hi, Kevin. It is suggested to live near the Jiuzhaigou or Chuanzhusi area, so that you can easily catch a bus or a taxi to the airport. It is not suggested to live near the Huanglong area because of the bad traffic system. If you live near the Jiuzhaigou area, you can call the airport shuttle bus and they pick up you in front of your hotel the next morning to reach the airport. If you live in Chuanzhusi, you can catch a taxi to the airport.

Ok thanks for your suggestion. How can we store our luggage then? We will be traveling from Goukou in the morning of day 2 to travel to Huanglong - do you think we can drive by our hotel in Chuanzhusi and store our luggage there with a taxi, and then return to Chuanzhusi after visiting Huanglong?

I am not sure whether I grasp your meaning exactly. But if you will land at Jiuzhaigou Airport, just take a taxi to Chuanzhusi and check in a hotel there. You can store your luggage there. Then take a bus or rent a car to Jiuzhaigou, then Huanglong. After that, go back to Chuanzhusi to take your luggage to catch the flight!Let me know whether it is clear~~
