quickest student chinese visa

Question

My daughter has been studying in Beijing for a year. Her X type runs out on the 1st august but she has a scholarship to shangdong university for 3 weeks in August. She is travelling in China and Japan at the moment. She has been told not to go to a PSB in Beijing to renew her X type as it takes 7 days. Where is the best place to go to? I have heard Xian but is this true and are there better places? What is shanghai like?

Hi, it she just need to stay 3 more weeks in China, she can extend it at Shandong PSB with the supporting letter issued by Shandong University. Otherwise, she can try to apply in Japan when she is traveling over there.
